September is still hanging on my wall and nobody has torn it off. ✨ There is a neat perforated line across the top of every page on that pad. I never tear a page before the month finishes, and I never take a single rupee before I show up in front of you. No advance, no token, nothing sent ahead on any app. The date gets ringed on the pad and that is the entire arrangement. What changes hands, changes hands face to face, with the page folded back over the pin. So the ringed box stays exactly as it is until you are standing under it. 💋 Then the folding starts, and the paper is not the first thing that gets folded back. My mouth finds your neck while that perforated line sits at eye level behind your head. Your belt ends up looped over the same pin. 🔥 I am slow with buttons, and that perforated line above your head sees exactly how fast the rest goes. By morning the September page is creased right along its straight tear line. 😈 It has still not come off the pin. The page holds on by two soft corners and the ring is smudged where my shoulder pressed it flat.
