After that voice in the corridor finally went quiet I sat down properly. Somebody's uncle had been standing out there asking who all was at home. I said nothing and let him decide the flat was empty. Once it shuts, the whispering stops. Your throat gets my mouth first and keeps it. Your hands can work the rest out for themselves. Going slow is a decision I make deliberately. Arre, the things in my head while that uncle stood out there knocking 🔥 Naughty is a soft word for what I was picturing. You will hear every line of it with my wrist in your grip. The corridor light switches itself off at midnight. After that, no one can tell who is standing at my door, and nobody on this corridor has ever asked twice 💋
