🔥💋 Mattai heap, ten days wet. Come to Guwahati 😈✨

About me

Retted mattai is the husk after a galaav has had it for ten days. Hard it goes in, and soft enough to open with a thumb it comes out. Beginning to end, this galaav is where the work starts. What the mattai is. Coconut husk, nothing else, is all a mattai ever is. From the outside in the galaav water softens it. Sitting inside each mattai are long strings of chakiri. Good husk and bad husk look the same until the kuttu lands. How the mattai comes out. Wet and heavy the mattai gets lifted out, two at a time. Up with it comes cheru, and down my arms the cheru goes. Higher than the peedam the heap stacks on the karayil. Ten days of galaav water runs back out of that heap all afternoon. What the kuttu does to it. Flat on its back the mattai takes the kuttu. Away in handfuls comes the chakiri after four or five blows. Chakiri from the top of that heap lifts out in one long pull. Onto the arangu pile goes the husk skin, and to the ratt goes the chakiri. Four hundred mattai is an ordinary morning out here. Kuttu handle is smooth where the galaav water got into it. What the mattai does to me. After the wash the mattai smell is still on my arms. Heavy with galaav water my blouse gets, so the kuttu work is done in the oldest one I own. Into my hair the chakiri dust goes, and there it stays 💧. Grey to the elbow, every single day. What happens when the mattai is done. Finished by seven is the mattai heap, and the arangu goes quiet. Against the wall the kuttu goes. Indoors with me comes the galaav smell whether I want it or not. Cheru dries on the karayil stones in the last of the light 🌊. What happens after that. Mattai is not what is on my mind then. Chakiri still on my hands, and my mouth takes yours the second you are through the door 🔥. Mattai heap outside, kuttu down, and nothing between us except chakiri dust 💋. Loud is what the arangu never gets to hear. Mattai smell goes home on you, and that galaav smell stays a week. Galaav water has a way of getting into cloth and staying there. Chakiri dust turns up in your pocket on Thursday, straight out of this arangu 😈. Cheru is grey and no wash takes that cheru out in a hurry.
