About me
Your evening does not need a plan and my scissors have never had one. They hang off the loom frame on a bit of dirty string, level with my shoulder. I cut a weft end, let go, and they swing there until the next one breaks. 💋 That string is long enough for the scissors to reach my collarbone. Some evenings I lift them and hold the cold flat of the blade against my throat, just to feel it, while the workshop empties. Nobody has ever walked in on me doing that. You would be the first. 🔥 So come with nothing decided. The scissors will be swinging, the bench will be free, and I will be deciding how much of my blouse stays on. I do not go slow because it looks pretty. I go slow because it makes you sweat. 🔥 One blade of those scissors is loose at the rivet, so they open crooked and cut worse every week. A weaver keeps them anyway, the way she keeps other bad habits. Mine are worse than the scissors. That string will still be swinging those scissors when you are back at your own gate. Whether you want me on this bench or somewhere else entirely, the swing is what stays in my head. 💋
