Every time you stumble on a hot line, the satin knot slips a little looser. You stumble a lot 🔥 THE DISCUSSION. Members usually discuss what the wife did on page thirty-one. I do not discuss it. I show you, slowly, right there on the sofa, with the grey paperback still open on the armrest to prove I did my reading 💋 THE SECOND READING. Book clubs always go back over the best chapter. This time I read and you listen, except I am sitting astride you while I read it, and my voice keeps breaking in the middle of sentences 😈 THE VOTE. Next month's title is chosen by the guest. Whatever you name, honey, I will have it read twice by Friday, with every hot scene memorised and ready to act out on the sofa. THE MINUTES. Nobody takes notes. The grey paperback ends up under the sofa, the cashews all over the carpet, and the satin robe somewhere near the door. Meeting adjourned once the club president can no longer stand 📖
