My cooker base is scratched and the shine went away long ago

Hard water and eleven years of scrubbing took every bit of shine off my cooker base. It is grey now, ringed, thin at the middle. 👀 The showroom ones on the shelf still look new. Nobody has ever cooked in those. A scratched base heats faster than a new one. It knows the flame, it knows where to burn, and it has stopped pretending to be pretty. The girls whose pictures look like showroom glass are lovely to look at. Mine is the base that actually gets hot. Run a finger over that base and you feel every scratch on it. That is the point. I would much sooner be handled like a base that has taken years of flame than stood on a shelf and admired. So I do not put the lights out. Put your hands anywhere on me, hard, the way you would grip a base that has already been through fire. Bite me while you do it. 🔥 The scratches were never a problem here. That grey base will be on the flame again tomorrow, and it will heat before a shiny one does. 💋 That base heats in my kitchen and it heats in any room it is carried to. Bring the grip. I will bring the base that stopped bothering about shine. 😈
