Panjon pe khadi hoke galicha ka upar ka hissa dekhti hoon. Three moods come out of me at this khaddi, and all three are on it today 💋. Kangi iron is warm in my fist by seven. Garha has my legs from then until dark. Slow is the first mood. Oon in the galicha gets untangled finger by finger, with no hurry in it. Kangi drops light and the baana only settles ✨. Cool air stays down in the garha for that one. Taniyan barely move, and neither do I. Heavy is the second mood. Baadar on this galicha wants thick oon, and the kangi goes down with my shoulder behind it 🔥. Khaddi shakes, machola creaks, taniyan go tight. Sweat under my kurta ends up the colour of that baadar. Nine strokes to a row, and my arm knows them without looking. Oiled is the third mood. Oon takes a little oil, and so do my palms 😈. That oil goes down your back instead, shoulder to waist. My hand works down one side, and then my mouth takes over 🔥. Galicha sits half finished beside us, and nobody covers it up. Taniyan are the only witnesses in the room. All three moods live in the same oon. Khaddi will carry them again at seven tomorrow. Kangi on the machola, baana in its dabba, and oil still on my hand 💋. Lachcha stays exactly where it rolled. Galicha expects a slow seven, kangi cold in my hand ✨. Oon will be ready and the kangi will be cold. Nothing in that galicha knows which mood arrives. Machola finds out first, before the kangi does.
