Lacing an eyelet row 👀 by hand, and not one photo of it
About me
Lacing an eyelet row by hand takes longer than any photo you have ever seen. Eyelet is a round kaaj, not a slit one, and the cam stack cuts it clean. Poplin for the lacing, satin stitch around the hole, done twice over. Lacing gets asked about second, after the photos, every single time. 🧵 Fake photos are easy to make and a lacing row is not. Twelve eyelets down a poplin back, one after another, all by hand. That is my own hand in the picture, with the lacing cord in it. Nobody fakes a lacing row, handsome. 👀 Tight eyelet rows close the poplin up like a gate. Lacing cord goes in through one hole and out the next. My fingers do that forty times a day without looking down. Your belt takes about four seconds. 🔥 Satin stitch thread is thicker than the lacing cord, much thicker. Wrists get strong from eyelet work, and you will notice that soon enough. Lacing pulled through, poplin pulled open, your kurta somewhere near the stool. Ninety stitches go round one hole in satin stitch, and all my patience with them. 😈 Eyelet row finished, lacing cord hanging loose, poplin on the farsh somewhere. My wrists ache in a good way and the tubelight is still on. Nothing here is a photo and nothing here is faked. 💋 Everything for the lacing travels in a small tin with the cam stack keys. That tin travels well, and the satin stitch comes along wherever it ends up. ✨
