Mina work is flat enough to photograph badly. The mina plate on my pad is green kanch, with a thewa morni on it. Every picture of that plate makes the morni look smaller 💋 The morni is bigger in a hand. People say a thewa picture is never the real kanch. They are right about the kanch and wrong about me. The kanch in that picture is this kanch, scratch and all ✨ The scratch runs under the morni's tail. Mina green does not come out in a picture. The kanch reads grey on a screen and gold on my pad. Hold the plate up to a jyoti and the kanch goes green again 🔥 Then the morni opens up and nothing reads grey. A thewa plate has a back, and the back is where it is proved. Turn the mina plate over and the jadai is uneven on one side. That uneven jadai is mine, from my own hand. A nag at the corner of the jadai is loose. No picture has ever shown that side 😈 What a picture cannot carry is the heat of the kanch. Mina plate, warm from a hand, is a different object. My skin has been on the back of that kanch all evening 💋 That mina has a smell of hand on it now. And the morni on that mina plate has a crooked eye. Every thewa morni I cut has the same crooked eye. Set two plates together and the morni gives me away ✨ The morni's kalgi is crooked in the same way. Nobody fakes a crooked morni on green kanch. The thewa is proved by the plate, not by a picture. Mina plate comes to the table and goes into a hand. Thewa is held, turned over, held again 🔥 Then the question stops being a question. After that the mina plate goes on the bed, face up. Kanch under a knee is a strange feeling, and I like it. The morni gets pushed sideways and the plate slides 😈 Nothing on that bed stays face up for long. The mina plate travels, and it has been held in rooms that are not mine. Kanch does not mind where it is held. My mouth minds even less 💋 Bring a jyoti and the kanch does the proving.
