Your lips are warm and mine are freezing, and the kiss goes on until they are the same. I spit a black seed into your palm and laugh. 🧊 When the ice is half water, the bowl is on the bed between your knees. I drag a cold watermelon cube down your throat, my tongue chasing the red wet line it leaves. You grip the sheet. I pick up another cube and do it again, slower, honey, because watching you shiver is my favourite part. When the ice is just pink water, there is no fruit left and no clothes left either. I dip my fingers in that cold pink water and paint your chest with it. Then I ride you, hot against all that cold, and I am not quiet. The bowl tips and pink water soaks the sheet under us. 🔥 When the pink water is warm, we are lying in a wet patch that smells of watermelon. Another melon is waiting on the shelf and a full ice tray is in the freezer. Stay for the next bowl. 💦
