Slivers on the floor and a nihani in my lap tonight

Slivers come off the nihani and settle under the mez. Inside the banshi the nihani goes, scrapes the nalika, comes out grey. Six passes of the nihani and the banshi stops hissing. A hissing banshi means there is more work left inside the nalika. A banshi with a rough nalika hisses on every swar above the pancham. That nalika takes six passes before any swar sits straight. Bare feet, a nihani in my lap, and slivers everywhere. 🎋 The nihani handle polishes down where my thumb rides it. Splinter dust settles under that mez all afternoon. Anybody who makes a banshi reads that polish before any photograph. Grey from the nihani sits across my blouse, and slivers go down it too. Nihani grey never comes out of a blouse, so I stopped trying. Put the nihani down and the banshi goes with it. My thighs come either side of you while the banshi rolls off my lap. The naharni lies among the slivers and nobody picks it up. Banshi gets forgotten under the bed once my weight is on you. 😈💋 After all that, the nihani waits in the slivers with a grey edge. The banshi under the bed still has a rough nalika and a flat swar. Nihani grey comes off my hand onto your shirt and goes home with you tonight. 🎶
