It slides forward on its own every time I lean. You will get a face full of it, which was arranged on purpose. WHAT TO DO WITH IT Take a fistful of that mask-heavy hair and hold on to it. Not gently, and not for a second or two. Forty minutes under a hood was spent on exactly this 😈. I want to feel the pull right down at the roots. WHAT ELSE IS ON OFFER Teeth, that is what else. Somewhere between my ear and my shoulder, while the hair is still in your fist. I get loud early and louder after, and no apology has ever followed. THE RULES I DROPPED Checking the time is out. Sitting up to rearrange myself is out. That hood cured me of both between three and four this afternoon 💋. Whatever position the evening lands in is the position it stays in. HOW LONG THE SHINE LASTS Four washes, the girl said, and she does not exaggerate. So there are four evenings in this hair and tonight is the first of them. After that it goes back to being ordinary hair. WHERE A latch here, an address there, and slippery hair that travels without complaint. That part costs nothing to arrange. It is also the least interesting thing about tonight. THE END OF IT Forty minutes under a roaring hood, for a man who was not even in the lane. Terrible logic, honestly. Excellent hair, though.
