“Chappal yahin utaar do,” I said at the door, and he grinned like a schoolboy caught somewhere. The latch went down behind him with one small click. I did not go dheere. I bit his lower lip, climbed onto his lap, and told him the flat next door sleeps by ten. 💦 My mouth went down his throat and stayed there till he made a noise he was embarrassed about. Uff. That noise is the reason I keep the chain unhooked on evenings like this one. 🔥 Later one chappal was near the almirah and one somewhere under the bed. “Yeh kaise hua,” he kept asking me.
