Almost every corner of this plastic cover is still stitched shut 💋 One corner is not. The seam there split open in April and nobody has fixed it. My finger goes into that split when I am bored 👀 Tonight I am bored and the split is getting wider. The split seam sits exactly where my hand rests So my hand is there most evenings. The plastic gapes a little and the foam shows through. I press it back down and it opens again 🔥 That is the whole argument I have been having with this sofa. Handsome, the split corner is on the side I want you on Sit there and your shoulder lands right above it. The plastic will gape under your arm. I will be on the other end, watching your hand find the same split mine does. Then I stop watching from that far away. The split gives, and I lean where it gives That corner takes my weight and lets go by an inch. My knee slides down into it. Your shirt is what I hold on to when the foam sinks 💋 Nothing about that is careful. Every time the seam opens my mouth is somewhere new First it is your jaw. Then the split widens under my palm and my mouth is lower. You will hear the plastic give before you feel me. That order matters to me. The split corner has taken a lot and stayed open It does not tear all the way. It just lets go, holds, lets go again. I give the way the split corner gives, one inch at a time. Slow, then not careful at all. My back finds the split when I turn over The plastic there is soft from being broken. It does not mark me the way the stitched side does. So I turn over, and I keep turning, and the corner takes it. You are the one who says something first. The split seam is here. I am not glued to it This corner will still be open tomorrow. Tonight I can be on it, or I can be somewhere with better upholstery and worse manners 🔥 Both work out well for you. The split corner will be wider by morning That is what happens when somebody leans on it for two hours. I will look at it tomorrow and think of your hand. Then I will press it down again. It will open again.
