🔥💋 Five reasons my chuttu is still by the door 😈✨🌙

Chuttu by the door is three days old, and that chuttu has not moved. Once the izha is laid up, a vadam coils like that. Out here that vadam stays coiled, and these are the reasons why. 1️⃣ Two izha laid against each other make a chuttu, and that izha work is slow. One way turns the ratt, the other way turns the vadam. Until the lay sets, the kokka holds both izha 💧. Eight arm-lengths of vadam is one evening gone. 2️⃣ Rushed izha and the chuttu will not sit flat. Under it the thattil keeps the vadam off a wet floor. When the izha is ready the ratt arm tells me, never the kokka. Kokka squeak is what says the izha has gone dry. Flat thattil, straight vadam, even izha — the whole of it. 3️⃣ For a week the chuttu smells of the soak. Slow in this air, the izha dries. Too fast and the vadam goes soft, so the chuttu waits in shade. Shade is what the arangu wall gives it till Thursday. 4️⃣ Heavy is the chuttu, and the vadam ends catch my blouse as I lift. Hanging there all evening, the vadam takes the kokka's weight 🌆. Off on me comes the vadam dust, every single time, darling. 5️⃣ Last thing my hands are on is the chuttu, then izha dust and you. Onto the thattil goes the vadam, izha off my fingers. Chuttu by the door, shirt open, izha dust over both of us 🔥. Chuttu smell gets into every blouse I own and none of them come clean. Izha dust sits in the seams of this one. Vadam ends have opened the shoulder of it already, so tonight that blouse goes onto the thattil with the vadam and nothing replaces it 💋.
