Sahejti hoon newar ki katran, aur yeh aadat manji se hi aayi hai. Offcuts look useless, so most hands sweep them into the sehan corner. Mine go into an old tin that stays open beside the serh. Every tin that empties means a bunat somewhere went tight. Katran stay in the tin tonight and the bunat stays unfinished, jaanbujh ke 😈. My mouth knows the way to your ear without being told twice. Shift that tin off the serh before you sit down anywhere near it. Katran will scatter across the sehan floor and stay scattered till morning 💋. Sweetheart, those katran are still in the tin. Manji half strung takes weight better than people expect. Katran chhod doongi, manji chhod doongi, tum aa jaao bas.
