Other tanks on this row get scrubbed out every week. Vallisneria does not like that, so my tank does not get it. 💦 Its jadein go down into the gravel and stay there, and the snails work around them. Runners come off it sideways under the gravel, and a new blade comes up a hand's width away. 🐟 Six of them went in two years ago and the back half of that tank is a wall of them now. Gravel there is packed solid with vallisneria. Other girls keep their vallisneria trimmed and their gravel bare. Vallisneria taught me the other way. 🐠 Anubias stays tied where I tied it. Jadein stay where they went. Nothing on this shelf gets straightened just because somebody is watching. Towards the window side it leans, and that is where the light sits longest. 🔥 My wrist goes down past the jadein when I reach for the gravel, and the whole tank closes over my arm. My sleeve is soaked past the elbow by then and I leave it. You can come and stand where the vallisneria leans. 😈 I hook the crate over with my foot, sit down facing you, and the gravel can settle on its own. Snails go on working around the jadein.
